  • Process Approach – Activities and related resources can achieve their objectives more efficiently when managed as an overall process

  • Continuous Improvement - Continual improvement of the organization's overall performance ensures its perpetuity in the future

  • Factual Approach to Decision Making - Effective decisions are based on the analysis of data and information

  • Mutually Beneficial Supplier Relationships - An Organization and its Suppliers should have an  interdependent and a mutually beneficial relationship to enhances the ability of both to create value

The nature of the Organization and the specific challenges it faces will determine how an Organization applies and implements these principles of Quality Management.  Many Organizations will find it beneficial to set up quality management systems based on these principles.
